Description

Here's a lovely custom Blanchard Bristlecone featuring East Indian Rosewood and Engelmann Spruce. The natural warmth of the Engelmann is complimented very well by the Indian Rosewood, yielding a very balanced tone with punchy, crisp bass and sparkling highs. Capable of beautiful fingerstyle tones and also strong enough for strumming. There is also a venetian cutaway, abalone rosette and bound peghead. Another superb Blanchard Guitar.

I love Marc Blanchard's work, and this guitar is a great example why. The tone is beautifully balanced -- the bass response is just right, the mids have a great presence, and the highs sing to the stars. I love how versatile it is as well -- I can play light fingerstyle passages or really dig in, and I'm rewarded with a gorgeous voice that gives me just what I need.

One of the best cutaway guitars on the market by one of the best luthiers.
