This Blanchard Sugar Pine model is as sweet as they come. The Brazilian Rosewood Mark employed for the back and sides is premium-grade: straight-grained and darkly beautiful. The Carpathian Spruce top, on the other hand, is creamy and flawless.
Sweetness of tone prevails on this Blanchard; from bass to treble there is an enveloping warmth that remains articulate and clear. With a setup that has fingerstylists itching to play, the string spacing feels perfectly natural under your fingertips. This is a not guitar to miss!
We loved this one so much that we teamed up with Al Petteway and recorded it on our latest album: Dream Guitars Volume II Hand Picked--track #4, "When We Were Young."
When I first played this guitar, first I was struck by how easy it was to play--then the tone hit me. This guitar is a total knockout, I would be a happy camper if I could keep it for myself. 
I'm a fan of Blanchard guitars and this one could have been made for me. It's the perfect Fingerstyle guitar and has a nice even frequency response across all strings. I also love the way it plays. I liked this one so much I used it on my latest album! - Accessories
