Here we have an amazing Clarita Negra guitar from Israel's famed Boaz Elkayam. The tone of this guitar is rich and powerful thanks to the Clarita Negra design which incorporates a Cypress Back along with Brazilian Rosewood sides and a Spruce top. The Kasha inspired bracing optimizes string energy and gives this unique and wonderful instrument tremendous projection. Black Teflon frets and the unique bridge make this guitar a prime example of modern playability and an extremely well rounded instrument as well.
Boaz is one of the true artists in the builder community that is pushing the envelope, always searching for new and exciting designs. His Clarita Negra is a unique concept that employs Kash Bracing, a Cypress Back and an offset soundhole to achieve tremendous power and projection. In addition there is great articulation and clarity between the strings. Here is an exciting, collectible and playable guitar from Boaz Elkayam.
This guitar is one of the most unusual I've had the pleasure to play. The offset soundhole and unique wood choices contribute to a full bass response and a wide palette of available tone colors. It's a very unique instrument and a real conversation piece as well.
