Sifel Creek Guitars Learn More +

"I started making guitars in 1996 after getting out of the military. Two years late in 1998 I started working for PRS, and I later moved to the custom shop in 2000. After ten years spent there, in 2010 I became the head luthier of PRS's acoustic department.Although I worked for an electric manufacturer, steel string flat tops and classical have always been my main focus as a builder.During my career I have made guitars for Martin Simpson, Al Petteway, Joe Smothers, Martin Carthy, Tony McManus, Alex Lifeson, John Mayer, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Steve Vai, Cody Kilby, Zakk Wylde, Adam Jones and many more than I can remember. In October of 2013 I had two of my guitars placed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Today Sifel creek guitars are handmade one at a time by me out of Larry Sifel's shop in southern Mayland."
Mike's been in the business for over 20 years now, and all that expertise really comes through in these guitars. They strike an excellent balance between traditional and contemporary, and Mike's voicing renders them expressive and just downright fun to play!
