Description

Just when you thought you'd plumbed the depths of expression with steel-string guitars: the Baritone guitar slides into view, and suddenly the creative urge is creeping down your arms, into your fingertips--and there goes the afternoon! We've got an excellent Baritone guitar in the shop right now built for Dream Guitars exclusively by Furch Guitars, decked out with Padauk back and sides, the premiere Baritone tonewood for depth and clear sustain, and a Cedar top for resounding warmth.

Brother, make sure you're sitting on soft pillows when you first play this guitar: when it knocks you flat, you won't want to hit your head (or the guitar) on a pesky table or hardwood floor! In two words, we'd describe this guitar as "summer thunder"--the bass notes are all explosions while the trebles are sweet and warm. If you're inclined toward Funk and Blues, this makes a powerful instrument for snappy bass lines and crisp vamping chords, and if you prefer thumbpicks, you can really dig in and get some electric crackles like Al Petteway gives us in the recording. Take it from us: this Baritone guitar from Furch makes other guitars look and sound, well, tiny.

Paduak has far and away been my favorite back and side wood for Baritones, It has just a little more umph on the low end, and that really does it for me. I'm impressed Furch can pull ofc Cedar for such a big guitar, but this one's doing great and grooves like it's got something to prove.

I really like these baritone guitars. They are easy to play and have a quick response, and are quite attractive with Koa appointments.
