Description

This is some guitar, the first year of the Les Paul! Designed by Ted McCarty and Les Paul, this guitar was the very first of the Les Paul line. Many consider these guitars prototypes since they were never assigned serial numbers. This one has the Gold Top, P-90 pickups and appears to be all original but for the nut. The playability is great and the tone is killer. This is a very rare, vintage Gibson Les Paul offered as part of a collection or individually.

What a treat to have an extremely rare first year Les Paul Gold Top from 1952. Playing this guitar is a real treat, it plays like butter and the P-90s sound amazing. Even with some play wear and finish checking this is among the most collectible of guitars and trust me you'll never have this much fun with a stock certificate. Why not treat yourself and make a wise investment.

I played a Les Paul for most of my professional career as a club guitarist and I still love them, especially with P-90 pickups. This one plays like butter and the pickups sound awesome.
