Here's a vintage Gibson Super 400CES from 1968, the last year of the split block Fret Markers. This one is completely original but for the pickguard and updated bridge and the original parts are in the case. The big 18" body of the Super 400 is the secret to it's bold and powerful sound. This one has been lovingly cared for and has a great setup for easy playability. This is a classic in every way.
The Super 400CES is an iconic guitar in music history. The sunburst, cutaway, f holes and split block inlays make it instantly recognizable. This one is nearly all-original and setup nicely for another 40 plus years of fun!
The electric tone is perfect for jazz or rockabilly. This one is similar to the one Elvis borrowed from Scotty Moore in his 1968 comeback TV special. It's had a lot of play time which gives it some character. A great player and a great investment.
