- Description

Here we have a Ross Gutmeier crossover classical with a lovely birdseye maple back and sides, mahogany neck, and spruce top. With its slightly narrower nut width, this instrument will be appreciated by the player who straddles styles. Classical, jazz, Latin, Brazilian, and fingerstyle all feel comfortable on this attractive and versatile instrument.
Birdseye Maple and Spruce make this Gutmeier guitar extremely beautiful, but the voice is what will captivate you. The Maple body excels at power and dynamic range with a wonderful energy behind every note. Great players always look for strong and lyrical trebles and they are found here in spades along with balance and articulation. There's nothing lacking in this guitar, I love it.
The slightly smaller neck profile and width make this crossover a joy to play for someone like me who is used to a steel string. The tone is clear and defined with a real nice tonal balance.
