I have personally owned two of Larry Pogreba's resonator guitars and I absolutely adore them. The aluminum body makes for a very different voice than the standard national, there's an ethereal natural reverb to each of his instruments and he designs them to be able to be played with slide or fingers with lighter gauge strings. They are funky and cool and used by such stars as Bonnie Raitt and Keb' Mo'. If you haven't paid attention to Pogreba guitars, now's the time to add something completely different to your arsenal!
 
Super cool! Larry clearly hasn't ever made the same one twice. Easy setups for both fingerpicking and slide work, retro hubcab covers, striking color palette.
