Here is a rare vintage Contreras Class 2 guitar purchased on Jan. 3 1966 in Madrid and offered here by the original owner. As a special treat this guitar comes with the original case and paperwork, including a receipt for the hotel stay in Madrid. Rosewood and Spruce, this guitar is loud and clear with beautiful character. The action is high, but the owner has allowed for setup work in the price which is very reasonable.

It's a true joy to get one like this in with the original paperwork from 1965 including the hotel receipt. One owner for all its life and lovingly kept. During this period 2 levels of Contreras were made, both are fine guitars. This is a Class 2.
 
It's not often that you get a guitar like this from its original owner. This one has had year's of use and it has some wear, but it is lightweight and powerful with lots tonal character.
