Description

A John Hall special in the house: check out our 2011 Blues Creek 000 12-fret in Brazilian & Red Spruce. The top is decked out with a brown Martin-style burst and Ivoroid trim, and a pyramid bridge to bring it all together. The Brazilian’s got some pretty figure in the lower bout, and the slotted headstock with Grover tuners rounds out the image of an American 000 with the Abalone torch front and center.

For players seeking a beefy neck, this Blues Creek will feel right at home, and the 1 13/16” nut makes for easy fingerpicking playability. Naturally, we had a blast digging into bluesy numbers with this 000, but it also held up well under a pick for some fiddle tunes. There’s an impressive amount of projection under the hood for a 000. A powerhouse in all directions.

This is a very fun Blues guitar from John Hall. Brazilian Rosewood and Spruce for power and clarity. A big, beefy neck that not only feels great in the hand but adds wonderful sustain. This guitar also handles a flatpick well for Old Time, Country, you name it. A sweetheart.
