Gold Tone has a reputation for building quality instruments at an affordable price. That's exactly why we selected them for our clients who asked us for workhorse guitars that for giging, travel and creative inspiration. This Gold Tone GBG+ Baritone Guitar is definitely full of creative inspiration. It features a 28 3/4" scale that is perfect for being tuned A to A for the big, beautiful low register Baritone sound. There is nothing quite like it if you are a songwriter or a male singer wishing to accompany yourself. You can play all your usual pieces but they will take on a wonderous new color that will surely inspire you in new ways! Comes complete with a hardshell case and an under saddle pickup and preamp onboard.
I've long been a Baritone player and I'm very impressed by the voice of this Gold Tone GBG. It's 1/10th of the cost of a custom guitar but truly is inspiring. It real simple, I'm getting one of these for when I prefer to leave my first string at home. I like everything about it, the feel, the voice, the construction. It's a solid instrument in every way. If you've ever thought about trying Baritone, this is your time!
This is one of the easiest playing baritones I've played and the tone is nice and balanced.
