A delightful example of modern fingerstyle guitars, this 2015 OM-R from Michaud Made. Brazilian Rosewood and European Spruce are the main ingredients at work here, and it sure shows. Power, depth, clarity—all of the things we love about this tonewood pairing are on full display. Cutaway for access. Arm bevel for comfort. It doesn’t get much better than this.

How lucky am I to get to see so, so, so many amazing guitars these days! It's a flatout delight and honor to spend a minute with this Michaud. Fiery response, with registers that retain lots of distinction while at the same time playing oh so dynamically with each other--a living, breathing, wide awake kind of voice. This guitar is anything but sterile. Call me to talk about it, and I'll be all sputters and gasps. It's hard to convey the emotionality this guitar brings out of me. | Scale Length | 25 in |
