There’s a lot of range in this instrument; it sounds dark and cavernous for an offset soundhole guitar. Excellent balance across the registers — not too much of any one thing. The Ziricote and Adirondack pairing gives it a deep, almost brooding character — rich lows, dry mids, and just enough top-end shimmer to keep things articulate. You feel the body resonate in a really grounding way. It’s the kind of guitar that doesn’t ask for attention, but commands it the moment you play the first chord.
