- Excellent. This Uke is in very rare condition, it looks to have been unplayed for most of it's life. Judging by the case this one may really have been under someone's bed for ever. Even the case is excellent condition. Aside from a few light play marks on top this beauty is mint. A real gem.

This is the extremely rare Martin 5-K Uke from 1928. This is the holy grail of vintage prewar Martin Ukuleles. Figured Koa top, back and sides with Abalone trim on top and back, a gorgeous Pearl Flower Pot inlay adoring the headstock and fancy inlays on the bound fingerboard. The original case for this Soprano 5K Martin Uke is in excellent condition, as is the entire instrument. Truly a museum quality piece that has been preserved for over 80 years.
This is one of those rare and special vintage Martin finds. Our client wasn't sure what he had when he sent us a batch of photos. We quickly realized he had himself a holy grail, a 1928 Martin 5-K Uke. This mint Uke sounds as good as it looks and is completely original, from the bar frets to the tuners and even the case. It looks to have barely been played. This is a treasure for collectors and players alike.
This little instrument is just gorgeous and deserves to be in a museum. I love that it still has the original case and gut strings in the case compartment. This is the cream of the crop of soprano ukes and will be a great addition to someone's collection of vintage Martins.
