- Description

Rafael Moreno is a rising star building in Andalucia Spain, known for it's long history of Flamenco guitar. This Flamenco Negra model is crafted from Brazilian Rosewood and Spruce and is a true Flamenco design. The bracing, bridge and setup all come together for a strong, aggressive sound with the desired growl but also the warmth and beauty desired in a Negra. These guitars sell for $7000 new, so this is a wonderful value in a concert level instrument.
I play some Flamenco and have always been a fan. Most Flamenco players I know have both a Blanca and a Negra guitar as each offers a truly unique sound suited to part of the Flamenco repertoire. If you've thought of a Negra this is your opportunity to obtain one from one of the top up-and-coming luthiers out of Andalucia, Rafael Morena.
This guitar has the true Flamenco sound with plenty of headroom to spare. It plays beautifully as well.
