This stunning flamed maple Euphonon (Larson Brothers) reproduction, built by luthier Anthony R. Klassen of New Era Guitars features a gorgeous Italian Spruce top over Flamed Maple. Its voice is loud and clear with great sustain.
This beautiful Round Shoulder Euphonon has all the Style 8 options that include a headstock Vine, Larson style fret markers, Abalone Top Trim and Rosette and Stars on the Bridge wings. This superb guitar comes with a heavy-duty Ameritage case. From his shop in Chesterton, Indiana, Tony Klassen has built guitars for Stefan Grossman and Henry kaiser and specializes in building in the Larson Brothers tradition, recreating and bringing a new level of sophistication to guitars from the early 1900's. i.e., Euphonon, Maurer, and Prarie State.
I am thoroughly impressed with this guitar. The craftsmenship is superb from top to bottom and tone and playability equal it's beauty. I'm a huge fan of Larson Brothers guitars and this New Era Euphonon really captures that 'thing' really well. Big, strong voice and easy playability along with killer looks. A++!
This instrument reminds me of some of the old Guild and Gibson maple jumbo guitars. It's fun to play and looks great.
