Description

Ron Phillips hand makes his resonators with vintage style and big tone. He specializes in small body resos, like this little Parlor. It has a big authentic sound that is rich with overtones. Some of the country blues players Ron has built for include: late John Jackson and John Cephas, Del Rey, Steve James, Robert Lowery, Andra Faye, Annie Raines, Cathy Fink and many more. German Silver and handspun cones give Phillips Resonators a round attack that is full and powerful. This 2009 model is in excellent condition, dont' miss adding a special voice to your collection.

I LOVE playing the blues on this thing. It just rings out loud and proud. Slide sounds amazing and fingerpicked melodies pop out and fill the room. The small size is very comfortable and it helps keep the weight nice as well. What makes this guitar special is that it has the rounded attach like a 1920s National, it's as if it's aged 100 years.

Don't let the small size fool you. This guitar packs a big punch with lots of ringing overtones. It's a joy to play.
