Featuring an extra fine Australian Cedar top, the Ashley Sanders Concert shows an undeniable Smallman influence. The carved back and sides are outstanding Bolivian Rosewood, and contribute to the comfort of the instrument as well as the superb projection and volume. Cedar is a very good choice for the lattice braced top, as it helps refine and soften the tone somewhat ï¿½ doing away with the strident quality many hear in lattice braced Spruce tops. This is a powerful and complex sounding guitar!
