Jason Simpson just completed this wonderful Adirondack Spruce GA cutaway. It's always a joy to play one of Jason's guitars for the first time. This one, with it's Rosewood and Red Spruce body, is quite powerful. A gentle touch is rewarded with a big voice and a bit more force will fill any room. The Adirondack top already sounds amazing and will surely continue to blossom. Jason employed his usual raised fingerboard design along with an extended fingerboard termius. The voice is very articulate and full with a lovely blending of notes. The bigger GA body makes it well suited for fingerstyle and strumming. It's very versatile. Jason has authorized us to sell this beauty at his base price even though it includes a cutaway and Adirondack top, both of which are upgrades.
It's great to see another of Jason Simpson's guitars. I really think his GA is one of the more versatile guitars around. He's manages to capture a wonderful fingerstyle voice and a strumming voice in one guitar, that's not easy. Jason's neck shape is super comfortable. On this one he added Adirondack and a cutaway for free just for you lucky Dream Guitars clients. Thanks Jason!
I love the simplicity of this guitar. The classic combination of Indian Rosewood and Adirondack spruce make it sound really great and give it a sense of familiarity that is comforting. If you are looking for a great high-end, handmade guitar without all of the extras but with all of the tone and playability, this may be the one for you.
