Well the end has finally come for the amazing Dream Series guitars that Jason Simpson created for us. He continues to astound us with the tonal and visual beauty of his guitars. What we are most proud of hear is the powerful and moving voice that Jason achieves by pairing the African Mahogany (Sapele) with Carpathian Spruce on the GA sized body. The result is extreme versatility in a guitar that can easily move between style and genres. You can achieve big strummed sounds and the most delicate fingerpicked passages. Jason's armrest bevel is extremely original and beautiful. On close inspection you'll find laminated braces, bound soundhole and many other elegant touches that other builders don't typically offer. This truly is a Dream Guitar...
This Dream Series from Jason Simpson Guitars has been a very special project for us. The previous 4 buyers all love their guitars and have told us how much joy they have brought them. This guitar is among the most beautiful we've ever seen in our shop and the tone is magical. This is the series that debuted Jason stunning armrest bevel and among the first to pair Sapelle with Bloodwood bindings. Each of the 5 guitars in the series has had tremendous power and project coupled with a lush, complex sound that is mesmerizing. This one can easily move between fingerstyle and strumming, something that's not easy to do. We are a bit sad that this is the last in the series but we are extremely proud of this particular guitar. It's wonderful to be a part of bringing something like the Simpson Dream Series to the guitar world.
