This Monkey Pod and Bearclaw Sitka guitar by Jeffrey Yong was made for the 2013 Healdsburg Guitar Festival. Jeffrey's work is unmistakably individual and distinct from any angle: structurally, aesthetically, tonally, even his tonewood selection is unique among his contemporaries. This one of course comes with all the bells and whistles: custom inlay, scoop cutaway, arm bevel, sound port, etc. and has an especially nice midrange to its voice.
You can't help but be caught by Jeffrey's special aesthetic. You can be in a room with hundred guitars and his will stand out instantly. This one is in cascading Bearclaw Sitka, and the Monkey Pod back and sides have all the depth and richness of tiger eye. It has a sweet voice that is sure to have you wanting to play more and more...
