2007 Goodall Grand Concert Indian/AAA Sitka
This is a lovely Goodall Grand Concert with very pretty Indian Rosewood, Goodall’s trademark Koa bindings, and a really beautiful AAA Spruce top. This guitar can do a lot of things well… fingerstyle, strumming, and single lines. This is a great all-round guitar at a very nice price.

2007 Claxton Classical Flame Maple/European
This is a beautiful Ed Claxtn classical with lovely woods, comfortable dimensions, and a sound that is punchy and clear without sacrificing any sweetness. Ed is well known as one of the premier luthiers of our time and his instruments are very much in demand. The flame mahogany neck here compliments the very pretty maple sides and back, and the European Spruce top rounds out the tone and looks wonderfully.

2006 Martin SPD-16TR Indian/German
The Special Edition 16s were made by Martin Guitars beginning in 1996 with production mostly ending by 2000-2001. This model features extra features such as an abalone pearl rosette, a Style 45 multi-colored back inlay strip, and gold hardware. These are great Martins that won’t break the bank. This SPD-TR sports an Indian Rosewood body and Spruce top.

New Mervyn Davis SSBT2 African Kiaat/Sitka
Mervyn Davis has created a fresh and exciting guitar design that is not only artistic and eye-catching but completely musical and practical. His Smoothtalker design concept features very stiff back and sides, not unlike what many modern makers are doing these days, and a fan braced Spruce top that because of the body design is extremely lively and responsive. Soundports in the waist and near the neck flood the player with the beautiful voice. The result of this design is an instrument with serious projection and extreme clarity. The trebles strings simply soar, with more density and volume than the average guitar. The bass is focused and clear also with profound power. This Smoothtalker Baritone is simply amazing, the even articulation up the entire fingerboard is very useful on a Baritone and allows every note to ring true. It easily goes down to low A and remains clear, not muddy at all. The Smoothtalker also comes ready for a pickup if you wish. This is an inspirational new design straight from South Africa.

1948-1950 Gibson J-50 Mahogany/Spruce
This was the “natural” version of the popular Gibson J-45. In 1948 they switched from the Gibson script logo to the post-war gold block logo featured on this guitar. In 1950, they started using the upper belly bridge, so this is most likely either a 1948 or 1949 but could be an early 1950 as well. Whatever the year this is a GREAT ONE. Killer tone, that is bold and clear and the setup is excellent. This is one of the best playing Gibsons from this era you’ll find.

2007 Renaissance Dream Series #1 Flamed Maple/Flamed Maple
Here is a preowned example of the Dream Series RS-6 we did with Rick Turner and Renaissance Guitars. The idea for this series was simple, to create a high-end RS-6 that offered good value and features not typically available. This one features beautiful flamed Maple with a sunburst finish, wooden knobs and most importantly wider nut and saddle to facilitate fingerstyle play as well as strumming. This is a limited edition signed by Rick Turner.
1999 Simon Ambridge Concert Brazilian/Spruce
Simon Ambridge is a English Luthier well known for building worldclass concert guitars. In the late 1980s Simon received a grant from the Crafts Council of Great Britain, the membership of which included Jose Romanillos, David Rubio and Paul Fischer. New Maingard GC Brazilian/Red Cedar
We asked Marc for something a little different and created this amazing instrument for us. This guitar commands attention with it’s bookmatched Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard and Brazilian Bridge. The body is crafted of the most striking set of Brazilian Rosewood with dramatic sapwood in the center and rich, reddish-brown hues and embellished with armrest and ribrest bevels. 2005 Noble Concert Cocobolo/Curly Redwood
This Roy Noble Concert was made for Four Time Grammy Winning guitarist David Holt, who has played with Doc Watson among others. This guitar is simply stunning, crafted from Cocobolo Rosewood and an amazing Curly Redwood top. The deep, dark top hints at the voice that is rich and chocolaty, with fat, juicy trebles. This guitar is responsive and strong as well, making it versatile enough for many styles of fingerpicking.

2006 Greven Next Generation 000 Brazilian/Adirondack Red
We are delighted to see this wonderful Greven guitar again. The minute I played this guitar at the Newport Guitar Festival we nabbed it for our customers. John Greven told me it was special and with the first few notes I was hooked. He calls his new 14 fret 000 design the NextGen because it merges the killer tone and liveliness of a 1930’s guitar with accurate intonation, a truss rod and modern tuners. So in the NextGen you get best of yesterday and today. Crafted from beautiful old growth Brazilian Rosewood and stunning Adirondack spruce, the tone is at once classic and fresh and the voice is simply huge.

1995 Dobro Roundneck steel/steel
Here we have a like-new Dobro from 1995. The steel body with its single cone and biscuit bridge offers up that classic clank and wail reminiscent of old Bukka White recordings. The body is finished in a tobacco burst which blends nicely with the Rosewood fingerboard. The action is set for slide and fingers and the sound is great.
2003 Kirk Sand Richard Smith Model Indian/Spruce
If you haven’t seen Richard Smith play live, you need to! I caught him Add the Station Inn in Nashville a few years back and he blew me away. its easy to see how his amazing playing influenced this Richard Smith model guitar from Kirk Sand. The deep cutaway allows full access up to the 17th fret and beyond, the RMC pickup system provides fully adjustable volume for each string making it perfect for on stage use. This one is crafted from beautiful straight grain rosewood and Engelman spruce. It has abalone fret markers as well as a abalone top border, Rosette and tie block. We also like the clever placement of small fret dots on the upper frets of the high string for reference while playing. The tone is pure and lively acoustically, and the amplified sound is natural and hasslefree. This is a superb performance instrument. Watch Richard Smith tear it up on his Kirk Sand guitar.
