Brand New Maingard Grand Concert, Brazilian Rosewood/Spruce
Another brand-new guitar from the bench of Marc Maingard! This is a GC 12-fret model with a cutaway, soundport, and arm bevel. The back and sides are crafted from Brazilian Rosewood, and the veneer for the headplate, backplate, rosette, and bridge are all made from the same piece of Brazilian Rosewood. The top features Spruce, complemented by many of Maingard’s signature design elements.
Medium-sized 12-fret guitars are rare, and this guitar makes a compelling argument for why they shouldn’t be. Easy on the eyes and ears, this instrument is loads of fun and a stunning example of how natural materials can do all the talking.

From 2022, we have a real showstopper: a G1 with DADGAD multiscale, arm bevel, and cutaway. The back and sides are crafted from shimmery Koa, paired with a top of Swiss Moonspruce. Outfitted with EVO frets and all the meticulous appointments you’d expect from Michael Greenfield, this guitar is nothing short of spectacular.
This is one of those instruments that truly speaks for itself. It’s so captivating that it’s hard to get any work done with it around! Housed in a Mainstage case for top-tier protection—someone, please, come take this away from me.

2023 Hatcher Greta, Brazilian Rosewood/Italian Spruce
This 2023 Greta model from Mark Hatcher is so exceptional it found a home before it could even be listed. Built with stunning Brazilian Rosewood and a 50-year-old Italian Spruce top, this guitar showcases Hatcher’s impeccable craftsmanship. Custom made for our very own Dustin Furlow, it includes thoughtful features like arm, rib, and hand bevels, as well as a soundport for enhanced playing comfort.
Adorned with Snakewood appointments, including the fingerboard and bindings, and fitted with Scheller tuners, it combines elegance with practicality. The slightly wider nut and saddle spacing make it a perfect choice for fingerstyle players, while the modified lattice bracing delivers a balanced and responsive tone.
This Greta is an outstanding example of modern lutherie—refined, comfortable, and built to inspire.

1910 Martin 0-28, Brazilian Rosewood/Adirondack Spruce
Classic Martin 0-28 from 1910. This player-grade piece of history perfectly demonstrates why vintage guitars are so highly sought after—there’s no denying the legitimacy of the ‘alchemy of time.’ Aged wood truly is good wood, and this guitar is a prime example.
With a wide nut at 1 7/8″, it’s a tonal dream for fingerstyle, folk, country, ragtime, and just about anything else. It sounds incredible, feels amazing, and we’re fortunate to have this classic Adirondack Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood gem in the shop. It even comes with the original coffin-style case. This is the kind of instrument that could belong in a museum, but we’re thrilled to have it here instead.

Brand New Gaffney Modified Dreadnought, Brazilian Rosewood/Swiss Spruce
Our first Modified Dreadnought from Julian Gaffney—and what a stunner it is. Given that he apprenticed under the inventor of the Mod-D, it’s no surprise that this is an astounding example. With Brazilian Rosewood and Swiss Spruce as its core components, this guitar is a masterpiece. The minimalist carved aesthetic truly lets the materials speak, both literally and figuratively.
With immaculate attention to detail, this guitar is both powerful and delicate, and one of the most responsive instruments we’ve ever had. It features Rodgers tuners with Padauk buttons, a French-polished face and bridge, and nitrocellulose-finished back, sides, and neck. The unique look and feel are complemented by a quilted Sapele backplate on the headstock.

2023 Urlacher Concert, Claro Walnut/Tunnel 14 Redwood
Custom made for our very own Dustin Furlow, this 2023 Concert model from Rebecca Urlacher could be yours. It features Tunnel 14 Redwood on top and outrageously figured Claro Walnut for the back and sides. The fingerboard, bridge, and bindings are crafted from exquisite Brazilian Rosewood. A soundport adds a bit more ‘you’ in the monitor, with a full neck profile and extra-wide spacing at both the nut (1 25/32″) and bridge (2 5/16″). All wrapped up in a Visesnut flight case.

2022 Bourgeois OM Signature Deluxe, Brazilian Rosewood/Aged Tone Sitka Spruce
From Dana Bourgeois, a 2022 OM Signature Deluxe with an Aged Tone Sitka Spruce top and some exceptionally fine Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides. Koa bindings line the body of this Orchestral Model, and there’s a very lovely and subtle burst on the top, which in many ways complements the tonal palette of this instrument. The slightly wider spacing at the saddle makes it ideal for fingerstyle, though it can thrive in any playing style. A true Swiss Army knife of guitars.

2007 Tippin Staccato Cuban Mahogany/Salmon Crate Sitka
From 2007, a Bill Tippin Staccato in Mahogany and Sitka Spruce. This is his modern take on the traditional Parlor or 0-sized guitar. It’s the perfect body style for the player seeking a comfortable, easy-playing guitar without sacrificing tone. Like every Tippin, the Staccato boasts a big voice, strong projection, as well as depth and complexity. This beautiful guitar features very rare Cuban Mahogany (Swietenia mahogani), the densest type of Mahogany, known for its fine, rich texture. Its density provides greater sustain and a more complex tone compared to Honduran Mahogany. Bill topped it with rare Salmon Spruce, which was submerged for many years and exhibits more silking than you can imagine. Silking, or medullary rays, indicates that the wood is perfectly quarter-sawn and demonstrates its tensile strength.
