Here we have a very rare 1928 Martin 0-28K All Koa model. This beauty is in wonderful condition having survive her nearly 81 years to mature into an amazing instrument that is alive with sweet tone. The woods are lush and warm having gained a golden glow with age and the notes are alive and rich. This is a superb fingerstyle guitar for blues and old time and it LOVES the slide. The Koa body offers up great sustain and a lyrical note under the slide. There are very few of this model and year around so this is a special treat.
1997 Lowden S-38 Brazilian/Spruce
The 38 Series is the top of the stock line from Lowden Guitars. This beauty from 1997 features the small body S shape favored by so many players for it’s small size but big tone. This one has beautiful Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with a mature Spruce top and elegant abalone trim including half moon fret marks set just below the low E string. This guitar works perfectly for Standard and DADGAD and for traditional as well as Celtic styles. A versatile little beast from George Lowden.

Here is a rare Jumbo from premier Luthier Jeff Traugott with quite an astonishing voice. All the Traugott clarity and beauty only more of it. This one features a gorgeous set of Brazilian Rosewood and a silky German Spruce top with just enough bearclaw to give it character. This is the first Goodall Crossover we’ve had in the shop and we are duly impressed. This guitar is strong with great projection and responsiveness. It’s very alive. The neck dimensions are narrower to appeal to player who move between nylon and steel string or those who simple prefer a slimmer feel. But there is still plenty of room between the strings to play cleanly and articulate. The construction is impeccable and the Palo Escrito and Cedar body looks stunning and sophisticated. It’s equipped with a pickup and ready for the gigging musician.

Goodall TMHD Dread Mahogany/Adirondack
The Goodall Traditional Series guitars use construction techniques and styling similar to the great prewar guitars. This TMhD model has a very nice Adirondack Spruce top over Mahogany for a classic D-18 sound. Lots of low end rumble and high end chime for a satisfyiing boom/chuck. Single notes have quick attack and smooth decay making this a great all-arounder. It’s in mint condition and setup perfectly.

In this his 10th Anniversary Premium he incorporates the Sounding Back Support, which employs a second back up above the back braces alleviating the deadening of sound that occurs when the players body touches the back of the guitar. The result is a concert guitar quite noticeably louder with resounding projection. This particular guitar features premium Madagascar Rosewood topped with Spruce so the clarity, separation and articulation are superb. This one was owned by Rene’ Moreno winner of major guitar competitions. He is only selling it to raise capital to return to Spain for additional musical training.
