Here Tony Vines has created a guitar that seems to embody the power of a 000-18 along with the refined fingerstyle sensibilities. Tony has made a name for himself building fine guitars with lovely touches. Here we have stunning figured Beeswing Mahogany, Adirondack Spruce and an armrest bevel to set this guitar apart from the pack. I also love the dramatic headplate and elegant cutaway. Most of all though we love the voice, it’s strong and clear with just a hint of growl when pushed hard. A beautiful Vines guitar.

When you play this guitar you can almost see luthier Bill Tippin sitting in his shop dreaming of what he might create for the biggest custom guitar show in the country. It’s clear that he pulled one his best sets of Brazilian Rosewood and topped it with a rare and beautiful Bearclaw European Spruce from his special stash. The tone is nothing short of majestic, you get cavernous, deep bass response and the trademark Tippin strong trebles. The Bravado/SJ, body shape is versatile offering fingerstyle balance and flatpicking energy. You’ll need to look at every picture to enjoy all the many elegant details Bill put into this guitar, handmade MOP Sparkle purflings, Koa Bindings, wooden inlay and the stunning butt wedge.

We custom ordered this guitar with Cocobolo Rosewood, German Spruce, a cutaway and a slotted headstock. We are thrilled with the results, it’s not only striking but the tone is warm, rich and punchy. This one is very versatile and easily switches gears from soft and sweet to strong and clear. The Cocobolo is a wonderful set with perfect grain and gorgeous brown color. Being a German builder the German Spruce is of course perfect.

This Goodall Traditional series employs a master grade Adirondack Red Spruce top and classic herringbone top trim & rosette for a tone and look that harkens back to the best guitars of yesterday. This fiesty 000 has an impressive set of Madagascar Rosewood with breathtaking figure. But close your eyes and you’ll notice the full voice and headroom to spare. Blues or traditional players will love this one.

This wonderfully collectible guitar is covered in autographs from the participants of the 2000 ASIA (Association of Stringed Instrument Artisans) conference in Nashville, TN, “Symposium 2000.” Written in gold ink pen are the signatures of 250 prominent people in the guitar community including luthiers, players, prominent executives and more. Some of the signatures are: Phil Keaggy, Dick Boak(Martin Guitars), Mike Longworth (Martin Guitars), Bozo Podunavac, Linda Manzer, Grit Laskin, Sergei DeJonge, Kevin Ryan, Dennis Scannell and many more. So you can see that this is much more than a great sounding Martin J-15, it is a very rare and collectible Martin Guitar that commemorates the 2000 ASIA Symposium and celebrates the wonderful guitar world we all know and love.
