2019 Serracini L 00, Birdseye Maple/Italian Spruce
2019 L-00 from Davide Serracini — Birdseye Maple and Italian Spruce are the main ingredients for this delightful creature. Small in body but massive in voice and spirit. The 25–25.625″ scale makes for a very subtle but effective multi-scale, and the 1 13/16″ nut width gives your left hand some extra room to play.
This instrument has a K&K Pure Mini installed, making it ready for any application one could ask of it. Listen to the demo—this guitar quite literally speaks for itself.

1944 Martin 000-21, Brazilian Rosewood/Adirondack Spruce
Oh, to lose track of time with this piece of history. Our 1944 000-21 is a sweet dream made reality; last year Martin exclusively used Adirondack Spruce, and one of the last serial numbers to have scalloped braces; straight-lace Brazilian Rosewood back and sides; silk-smooth setup. The voice has the liveliness and depth that can only come with age, and is a treat to behold under both fingertips and flatpicks. 21-Style appointments throughout, herringbone rosette, and original case and finish, as are the bridge and plate.

2022 Buendia OM, decked out in African Blackwood and Swiss Moon Spruce; 25″ scale, wide spacing at the saddle. One among many guitars designed with the fingerstylist in mind, but singular in its sound and feel.
This medium-sized guitar from Leo embodies the ideal modern acoustic guitar—all the qualities of a combination like African Blackwood and Swiss Moon Spruce, and the quality you expect from a luthier such as Leo Buendia. Look and listen, for this guitar can do all the talking for itself. Absolutely the definition of a dream guitar.

2022 Halland 00-H, Brazilian Rosewood/Swiss Moonspruce
We’d happily lose track of time with this 2022 00-H from Gage Halland any day. Not only does Gage manage to coax great projection and headroom out of a petite package, he manages to do so without compromising the warmth and treble presence where the 00 body already shines. The result is a full, comprehensive, engrossing voice. The use of Brazilian Rosewood (straight-grained and dark) and Swiss Moonspruce on top, of course, helps, but boy you could play out of tune on this 00-H and it’d still sound good. The 25.4″ scale length helps maintain a crispness and punch, as well as good string feel for the left hand. 12 frets to the body; gold EVO frets for longevity; and Gotoh 510 tuners at the headstock complete the package, wrapped up safe and sound in a custom Hoffee flight case.

2005 Sobell Large Body Bouzouki, Indian Rosewood/German Spruce
A rare bird for us here at Dream Guitars, a 2005 Bouzouki from the man himself, Stefan Sobell. Indian Rosewood and German Spruce are the main ingredients for this Celtic juggernaut. An undersaddle pickup is installed, with wide spacing for an octave mandolin-type instrument. The nut measures 1 1/2 inches, and the saddle is 1 13/16 inches. With a domed back and top and gold Gotoh tuners, this instrument is literally unlike anything else we have in the shop.

2020 Charis SJ, Brazilian Rosewood/Cedar
A beautiful example of Bill Wise of Charis’s work in the shop! This is a recent build from 2020, 13 frets to the body with Cedar on top and figured Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Creature comforts include a soundport, arm bevel, cutaway, and of course Bill’s trademark slender and agile neck profile. The feather in the cap here comes in with the delicately rendered flower inlaid with the fingerboard. All wrapped up in a custom Mainstage flight case.

2005 Byers Concert Classical, Brazilian Rosewood/Spruce
Gregory Byers 2005 Classical—Brazilian Rosewood and Spruce, with a fingerboard extension providing a high-end range up to a second octave D. The fingerboard is also elevated, and the top is sloped, ensuring optimum access to higher notes. Great tone, great access—this guitar has had 20 years of play time, and it shows. Sageworks leg rest magnets are also installed in this one. All wrapped up in a Hiscox case, this instrument is ready for both student and master alike.

2007 Ryan Cathedral, All Koa
A tropical powerhouse—this 2007 Kevin Ryan Cathedral Grand, all koa, is an absolute behemoth of tone. Excellent projection, clarity, and depth here. Long scale and quite a large lower bout, coming in just shy of 17 inches. Figured ebony arm bevel—this thing is incredible. Large body, large voice, and ridiculously beautiful tonewoods.

2016 Paldacci OM Malaysian Blackwood/Carpathian Spruce
This OM from 2016 has an incredible set of Malaysian Blackwood back and sides paired with a Carpathian Spruce top. Every detail, from the smooth contour of the neck to the graceful sweep of the lower bout, showcases thoughtful design and expert execution. But of course, a guitar’s true essence lies in its sound—and this one does not disappoint. The tone is vibrant and full of presence.
From the first note, whether fingerpicked or strummed, the guitar responds immediately with clarity and power. The treble strings are bright and energetic, perfectly balanced with a dynamic midrange and a robust, resonant bass. Whether played in standard or DADGAD tuning, this OM maintains exceptional definition, depth, and harmonic richness. In a word: angelic.

From 2012, we have a Blue Burst Andrew White Hybrid model, featuring a German spruce top and some oh-so-sweet Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides. This guitar screams modernity while maintaining a timbre that can take you back in time—a true hybrid in every sense of the word, without sacrificing the qualities of both vintage and modern sound aesthetics.
It has an offset oval soundhole and rosewood appointments throughout, creating a beautifully striking contrast with the Blue Burst top. A truly special and unique piece from Andrew White, and we are thrilled to have it in the shop!

The “Bluegrass Goose” from Boucher Guitars in Québec, Canada—majestic like the bird it’s named after, and no less impressive. With an Adirondack Spruce top and Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, this dreadnought has a particularly special set of Madagascar rosewood.
Gloss finish on the body, satin on the neck, a comfortable V-shaped profile, herringbone appointments, and Gotoh open-back tuners. Less than a year old at the time of publication, we can’t wait to see and hear how this guitar develops over the years!
