Roger Giffin has custom built electric guitars for a Who’s Who of rock royalty – Pete Townsend, Dave Edmunds, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Andy Summers, Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton, David Gilmour …. Man, now that’s a player’s list! Giffin guitars are simply world-class electric guitars built with superb quality and killer tone. This guitar was custom built for Dream Guitars owner Paul Heumiller who personally selected the materials.
This elegant Roger Giffin Standard Hollowbody features a stunning highly figured Walnut top and great feeling oil finished Mahogany neck and body. Other appointments include Brazilian fingerboard, gold hardware and a superb sounding set of Amalfitano P-90 pickups.

This is one of the finest Breedlove guitars we’ve had our hands on. The tone is vibrant and 3-dimensional, with an outstanding full-fidelity sound. The back and sides are gorgeous Indian Rosewood and the top is upgraded with a great piece of Adirondack Spruce. Built in 1997, this big sounding guitar was #56 of 97 made. And it comes with a Fishman Dual Source pickup system that really delivers great tone. The Ed Gerhard Signature model is an outstanding fingerstyle instrument, with the tone and versatility to cover a lot of other musical styles too.

Gerard Audirac began building his exciting classical guitar designs in 1976 from his shop in France. Nowadays they are played by the likes of Roland Dyens. The Cathedrale is powerful and dynamic, with stunning projection and clarity – no doubt contributed to by the large, elongated soundhole and special bracing. This is a guitar that can fill any hall. Composed of Indian Rosewood and Cedar, this Audirac has a 650 mm scale, and is 51 mm at the nut.

This Walnut and Cedar McIlroy A25C plays and sounds like a Dream! It is an exceptional all-around guitar – and certainly well suited for Celtic and fingerstyle music. Built in Ireland a decade ago, the voice of this guitar is open and rich with a nice roundness to the trebles. McIlroy guitars are hard to come by these days as Dermot has a long waiting list due to their great value and amazing tone.

We have admired Trevor’s excellent instruments for years, so it is a true pleasure to be a Kronbauer dealer. This Mini Jumbo is a superbly crafted, excellent sounding example of the luthier’s art. Made of Indian Rosewood and Sitka, it offers full bass and crystal clear, sparkling trebles. Like all Kronbauer guitars, this Mini Jumbo is a great value – it would be difficult to find another mid-priced guitar with so many deluxe features and excellent sound.

The Hollow Standard is one of a series of guitars that luthier Matt Artinger is building for Dream Guitars. Incorporating sophisticated design and refined appointments, this beauty is a great fit for playing any genre of music. The combination of the carved mahogany top and back, plus the Cat’s Eye soundholes, and ebony tailpiece make tremendous visual impact. There is also a custom paint job on the top of the back by Justin Barnes (JBGrafix, he was the original painter on American Chopper…painted thefirebike, jetbike, lance armstrong bike, Comanche bike, etc). The Electric City RD59 pickups yield tones that sound great clean or distorted. It also comes in a luxurious faux alligator Cedar Creek case.
2006 Huss & Dalton MJC Custom Indian/Adirondack
The MJC Custom by Huss & Dalton, is a versatile, well made guitar with excellent projection and dynamic range. The tones from the Indian Rosewood and Adirondack body are clear and powerful, but it also sounds sweet and pristine when played with a lighter touch. This one is adorned with lovely Stingray fingerboard inlays and a rope style top trim. Consistently putting out great guitars, Huss and Dalton has cultivated a well deserved reputation for excellence.

And this particular guitar features his new armrest bevel and soundport. On top of all that this one sports insanely figured Sapelle for the bindings, armrest and rosette. Here’s another guitar that is nearly impossible to stop playing! Talk about fun! The Gibson ES-150 is a great vintage instrument, and a wonderful value too. This fine guitar plays great and was maintained by a professional luthier for many years. The superb P-90 neck pickup sounds great when banging out chunky jazz chords, and has excellent mid-range qualities to make single line playing leap out from the bandstand. For years ES-150 (Electric Spanish) was Charlie Christians guitar of choice.
2006 Langejans R Bari Indian/Bearclaw Sitka
Thunderous low end – monstrous bass – this fabulous baritone emits a wall of sound so deep and pleasing it has the whole shop vibrating! A really lovely, easy to play baritone, this Langejans beauty is accurate and has nice clear definition, even when playing chords in first position. The tasty Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top adds to the stunning visual appeal of this American made musical instrument. Dream Guitars specializes in baritone acoustic instruments, and Del Langejans has really impressed us with this one!

One of “The Last McCollum Guitars”, this incredible instrument was commissioned in 2008, and built (but not completely assembled or finished) when Lance McCollum passed away in February 2009. Harvey Leach and Luke Wilson (Lance’s mentor) installed the neck, and Harvey completed the purfling and final finishing. 10% of the sale will go directly to the McCollum Family. This is a special guitar, with Select Brazilian Rosewood, and the highest quality Italian Spruce top. It also features a great feeling, easy playing 5 piece mahogany neck. Not to be missed!
