Grace Design FELiX Studio Quality 2 Channel Instrument & Mic Preamplifier / Blender / EQ
FELiX by Grace Design is a studio quality 2 channel blending acoustic instrument and mic preamp, designed for working musicians, engineers, sound companies or venues looking for the highest quality solution for amplifying stringed instruments. FELiX is built into a roadworthy (beer-resistant) floor unit chassis of anodized aluminum and steel, portable enough to leave the rack at home but bring studio quality to the stage. With the same stunning audio performance and legendary reliability as Grace Design’s pro audio range, FELiX brings open, musical and nuanced preamplification to any performance situation.
A powerful eq section allows simple and intuitive tone shaping for even the most unruly of instruments. Each channel’s variable high pass filter cuts 12dB per octave from 20Hz to 1kHz, and can also be set as a notch filter for chasing down problem feedback or rumble areas. Parametric mid range controls cover from 70Hz all the way to 8KHz. While fixed low and high controls are carefully voiced for musical shading of bass and treble. Controls are simple and clearly marked on a bright panel, making them easy to read and tweak on a dark stage. Footswitch functions include a mute / tune switch for muting all outputs except the dedicated tuner out, a boost switch which activates a variable boost circuit, and finally, an A/B mode switch for when FELiX is in A/B mode (which simply toggles between the two different channels).
FELiX brings the kitchen sink approach to I/O. Inputs include a 48V XLR mic input and two instrument inputs. Two independent transformer isolated DI outputs can be sourced from either the mix or the individual channel. This allows you to send the front of house a mix or each channel independently. A dedicated, level controlled amplifier output can be sourced from the mix or channel 2. A dedicated tuner output stays active when all the other outputs are muted. A side panel mounted 1/8” mini jack headphone amplifier is there for practicing, private noodling during boring soundchecks, or scrutinizing dubious eq decisions. A TRS insert is included for adding effects, and finally, a remote footswitch jack is included if FELiX is going to spend his life in a rack or up off the floor.
Guitar, bass, fiddle, mandolin, cello, dare we say banjo, that weird 3 string gourd thing–FELiX is your instrument’s new best friend. Flexible, reliable, a good listener and eager to make you sound better, he is also your new best friend. Designed and built by family and friends in sunny Lyons, CO, USA.

Add to CompareAER Alpha
The AER Alpha is a compact combo amp for acoustic instruments. It has one channel with 2 individual inputs that allow parallel use of instrument and microphone, even though the instrument is the main focus. Inputs each have their own gain knob. Birch plywood cabinet provides great tone projection and is road tough. Dynamic controlled 40 Watts RMS and the 8″ twin-cone speaker system give perfect performance at all sound pressure levels. Onboard reverb, external effects loop and headphone out. The Alpha amplifier defines the starting point of serious acoustic amplification at AER. Based on the success and the experience with the Compact 60 they have developed an even smaller, lightweight model that has no difficulties living up to the rigors of the road. Amazingly reduced, without losing what is essential for superb performance – the Alpha is a full size member of the AER product family. Open sounding and quick in response, this guitar amp masters different ranges and is not afraid of bigger instruments.
Effects
The AER Alpha has an integrated (internal) digital reverb effect on board. The return control determines the intensity of the effect (as far to the left as possible means no effect). Furthermore, a supplementary effect device can be connected (external effect). For this purpose, use the sockets send and return at the rear of Alpha to connect the external device (send to the input, return from the output of the external effect). The intensity will then be set by the controls of external effect device. A standard double foot switch can be connected to the footswitch socket on the rear of the amp with a stereo cable. This switch can be used to turn the internal and external effects on and off.Add to CompareL.R. Baggs Para Acoustic Di

This roadworthy box effortlessly tames the stage and enhances any acoustic pickup for a fuller, more complex sound. The Para DI features a 5-band EQ with a tunable midrange and notch, variable gain control for passive or active pickups and a high-quality DI output for a pristine signal to the board.

Visesnut acoustic guitar flight cases are carefully constructed with high-quality materials and accessories, and come in elegant design and colors. Each guitar case is specially padded and equipped with built-in adjustable support belt to ensure stabilization of the guitar inside the case (please read and follow the product instructions for adjustment of the support belt). Each Visesnut case features an adjustable support developed and patented worldwide by Visesnut. This includes a built-in support belt, protective padding, and neck support cushion. The built-in support belt is adjustable to embrace and hold securely many different guitar body shapes and sizes, allowing one Visesnut case to give the excellent effect of custom-fitting more than one guitar.
The interior padding is lined with a well-selected soft and smooth material. The padding has the ability to memorize shape. Together with the support belt and the neck support cushion, it helps to ensure firm support resulting in the least possible movement of the guitar inside the case. Once the support belt is adjusted to fit a guitar, the size and shape details of the guitar are memorized by the padding material at that time, and the supporting means is always ready to be adjusted for another particular guitar for the next use. The material, however, recovers its shape, if the support belt is readjusted to carry different guitars. The case body has a double-walled structure for enhanced protection. It is designed to withstand certain stress loads and absorb impact from drops and shocks. The double-walled structure also acts as an insulation that minimizes the effect of sudden temperature changes on the guitar by decelerating the transfer of temperature into the case.
Leather Handle Every Visesnut case comes with a sturdy handle, handcrafted with genuine leather for flexibility and durability. High-Quality Accessories High-quality stainless steel and metal accessories to complement all Visesnut cases. Part of their value is never to compromise for anything less than fine workmanship. Well-Balanced Standing Positions Although designed for horizontal access, all Visesnut cases are well balanced to stand firmly in both horizontal or vertical positions.

Add to CompareAER Compact-Mobile/2
The Compact Mobile acoustic guitar amp was developed to give musicians a system for acoustic instruments which provides AER sound and quality everywhere, independent of AC power. Based on the Compact 60, and identical in sound, but with adapted technology and slightly changed dimensions, you can play without AC power for three to four ho urs — whether you chose to play in the old town or on a glacier. The sound is clear and omnipresent.
Get used to people turning their heads. In case of insufficient battery power, the Compact Mobile’s intelligent power control gives a warning and thus saves you from lack of power during performance. It also prevents the batteries from being completely exhausted. Besides the features of the Compact 60, the Compact Mobile has got an AUX input that can be used to mix a battery-powered CD player to the sound.
The AER Compact Mobile amp has two channels that make it possible to operate a microphone and a musical instrument independently of each other. The dynamically controlled power amplifier and the broad-spectrum loudspeaker system guarantee distortion-free reproduction even at high volumes.
The Compact Mobile was developed after and was also based on the Acousticube, and it helped substantially to break out of the boutique corner. AER was able to prove to a bigger and increasingly more interested public that an all-round, small, powerful and yet simple complete amplification solution for stage, studio and home use does exist and that it works up to the highest demands and standards.
It has found many friends around the world with its size – smiled at in the beginning – being its second strongest side. Tried out during live performance it has become standard equipment of musicians who value sound, simplicity and independence.
This system, with its 8″-twin-cone speaker-system, 60 watts of power and fully developed dynamic control within the models small dimensions has not only found much appreciation but has also become the basis for a whole line of step by step, developed and refined AER acoustic systems.
Level control:
You can use the High/Low switch and the Gain control to adjust the various pick-up systems and signal sources to Compact Mobile. The clip indicator shows that the input signal is too high.Tone controls:
The three and two band tone controls of your Compact Mobile amp are designed to fulfill the special requirements of acoustic instruments and the general demands of other sources. The Color switch in Channel 1 activates a mid-cut treble-boost filter that is particularly appropriate for fingerstyle techniques.Effects:
The AER Compact Mobile has an integrated (internal) digital effect permitting you to choose between four effects by using the select push button. The select button allows you to choose between the four build-in-effects. They are indicated by the LEDs between the return and master controls. Pos. 1 is a warm hall reverb, pos. 2 is a bright hall reverb, pos. 3 is a chorus with reverb and pos. 4 is a flanger. The Return knob determines the intensity of the effect (as far to the left as possible means no effect). Furthermore, a supplementary effect device can be connected (external effect). For this purpose, use the sockets at the rear of Compact Mobile Send and Return (send to the input, return from the output of the external effect). The intensity will then be set by the external effect device. Using the Effect-Pan control, you can mix continuously variable effect portions into the channels.

Add to CompareL.R. Baggs Anthem
Studio Mic’d Sound Wherever You Perform The Award-winning Anthem series, featuring our patented TRU•MIC technology, seamlessly combines a proprietary condenser microphone with our acclaimed Element pickup to deliver the warmth and fidelity of a studio-mic’d guitar anywhere you perform.
TRU•MIC TECHNOLOGY At the heart of the Anthem is a revolutionary microphone engineered to capture a dynamic studio-mic’d sound for any live performance. The TRU•MIC mounts to the underside of the bridge plate and hovers just 3 mm above its surface to take advantage of the PZM or “boundary” effect. This proprietary mounting system, combined with noise cancellation, frees the mic to perform as if it were outside of the guitar in a studio and maintain remarkable feedback suppression for the stage. The result is a balanced frequency response with excellent clarity for the purest sound you have ever heard amplified. We have paired the Element pickup with the TRU•MIC to provide solidity and punch for low frequencies.
The Anthem has all of the essential tools in one complete system. The feather-weight preamp and controls include: volume, mix, phase and a battery check. The mix control blends from the augmented TRU•MIC position to Element pickup only.
FEATURES
Anthem TRU•MIC carries the majority of the guitars’ frequency range while the Element Pickup carries only the lowest frequencies
The mic is highly feedback-resistant
Noise cancelling microphone technology eliminates any annoying honky or boxy qualities from the inside of the guitar
Mic installs easily on the bridgeplate with peel and stick adhesive
Mic and pickup levels preset for optimum performance
Soundhole remote includes volume and mic trim controls
All discrete pre-contoured endpin preamp with preset crossover
Element Pickup fits most common string spacings and saddle width
Comes with battery bag for secure and unobtrusive battery retention
Patent-pending
Add to CompareAER Domino 2.A
The Domino started out as mono, multi-channel acoustic solution for bigger stages.
It allows 4 signals at the same time and is fully equipped to work as a complete system for small and medium sized venues especially in combination with the active extensions AS 281.
To maintain almost the same sound quality, we decided to multiply the sound systems rather than using standard configurations like 12“ and tweeter for higher volumes. Thus the Domino is equipped with two 8“ twin cone speakers plus tweeter and two combined 60 watt amps working as a 100 watt power unit. This gives it accuracy in the midrange and the speed for a realistic and vivid sound.
