Karura is an American-owned and operated company. Established near the turn of the last century, the Karura Case Company has been guided by a single purpose: to create the most trusted and useful travel cases and accessories for today’s touring musicians. To achieve this goal, Karura continually consults with renowned luthiers and professional musicians to enhance the development of its products. Karura’s customers continually provide invaluable input to the development of the original Musician’s Flight Case™. Simply put, one of the finest acoustic guitar flight cases on the market.
Karura’s instrument cases blend the fine touch of hand-craftsmanship with the extraordinary material qualities of carbon fiber. Utilizing recent discoveries in the treatment of carbon, Karura designs guitar cases of unparalleled strength, elegance, and lightness that protect both the instrument and give the musician peace of mind.
Technical Information:
Professional musicians worldwide rely on Karura daily to protect their guitar from damage, heat, moisture, and dust while flying to international concert halls or road-tripping from city to city.
Unsurpassed Strength to Weight
Karura cases offer unsurpassed strength to weight ratios. No other case comes close.
Karura Cases have been rigorously tested
Karura case designs have been laboratory certified to withstand over 1000 kg (2200 lbs) over one ton!) of compression without structural failure or permanent deformation. Very low deflection even under these extreme loads prevents your guitars from being crushed when packed under heavy loads.
Karura has completed extensive controlled drop testing on its case designs to that the Karura case shell and suspension system protect the instrument from extreme mishandling. During each drop test, a single case (and instrument) is dropped from 16 different orientations (all major axes plus the 45s) from a height two meters (6.5 Feet) onto a concrete floor. At the conclusion of this these tests, there was no damage to any of the instruments.

Do you want to have an amplifier the size of a toaster that gives you the quality of tone for BOTH electric and acoustic instruments that you’d expect from a studio situation with enough volume to cover almost any gig? Of course you do. That’s why if you play guitar, or any stringed instrument with a pickup for that matter, you need a Bud. The Bud has every feature you need and more than enough volume to get your bandmates or club manager to ask you to turn down, and coupled with the extension cabinet you can keep up with the heaviest-handed drummer with no problem. The amp and cabinet are naturally feedback resistant which limits the need for artificial notch filtering and other suppression technologies that negatively effect your tone.
But it’s not all about size and volume, there are lots of tiny, loud amplifiers on the market. You’ve tried them. You know what they sound like. The Bud is different. Henriksen Amplifiers is all about tone first, the incredibly portable size and feature set of The Bud were developed around the sound, not the other way around and you can definitely hear the difference. Our pre-amp, from input to output, is designed using the highest grade audio components. We offer a 5-band EQ with carefully chosen center frequencies which were fine-tuned by ear to meet the demands of different playing environments using the widest possible array of musical instruments. We give you two identical pre-amps, each with independent EQ and reverb and actual 48 volt phantom power, and an auxiliary input on each channel so that whatever you are using it for can be EQ’d separately from your instrument signal.

120 wattsGrace Design BiX Studio Quality 1 Channel Instrument Preamp/EQ
In a few short years, FELiX and AliX have become the preamps of choice for discerning touring and recording musicians. From Banjo to bass players, they enable performers to perfect their stage and studio sound beyond what was previously possible.
And now directly from this lineage comes BiX, which shares the exact same DNA of its bigger siblings, but with an intelligently streamlined feature set and a price that puts it in reach of any performer, whether on their way to the local coffee shop or the megadome.
Controls are dead simple – input gain, high and low shelving EQ, and a 10dB variable boost circuit, with footswitches for mute and boost. I/O includes the instrument input, separate send and return insert jacks, an unbalanced line output, and a balanced ISO DI output on XLR. For enhanced EQ control, rear panel DIP switches select between two different transition frequencies for both High and Low controls. And BiX is pedalboard friendly, with a 9VDC power input and a compact, rugged low-profile chassis.
Sonically, BiX is a carbon copy of its bigger siblings, with crystal clear, ultra-quiet audio performance. A better than 30VDC internal operating voltage provides for incredible headroom. The highs are smooth and open, and the lows are deep and rock solid. The dynamics and tone of the instrument come alive with clarity and realism, which translates to creating a deeper bond between you and your instrument.

Each guitar case is specially padded and equipped with built-in adjustable support belt to ensure stabilization of the guitar inside the case (please read and follow the product instructions for adjustment of the support belt). Each Visesnut case features an adjustable support developed and patented worldwide by Visesnut. This includes a built-in support belt, protective padding, and neck support cushion. The built-in support belt is adjustable to embrace and hold securely many different guitar body shapes and sizes, allowing one Visesnut case to give the excellent effect of custom-fitting more than one guitar. The interior padding is lined with a well-selected soft and smooth material. The padding has the ability to memorize shape. Together with the support belt and the neck support cushion, it helps to ensure firm support resulting in the least possible movement of the guitar inside the case. Once the support belt is adjusted to fit a guitar, the size and shape details of the guitar are memorized by the padding material at that time, and the supporting means is always ready to be adjusted for another particular guitar for the next use. The material, however, recovers its shape, if the support belt is readjusted to carry different guitars. The case body has a double-walled structure for enhanced protection.
It is designed to withstand certain stress loads and absorb impact from drops and shocks. The double-walled structure also acts as an insulation that minimizes the effect of sudden temperature changes on the guitar by decelerating the transfer of temperature into the case.
Leather Handle Every Visesnut case comes with a sturdy handle, handcrafted with genuine leather for flexibility and durability. High-Quality Accessories High-quality stainless steel and metal accessories to complement all Visesnut cases. Part of their value is never to compromise for anything less than fine workmanship. Well-Balanced Standing Positions Although designed for horizontal access, all Visesnut cases are well balanced to stand firmly in both horizontal or vertical positions.

FELiX by Grace Design is a studio quality 2 channel blending acoustic instrument and mic preamp, designed for working musicians, engineers, sound companies or venues looking for the highest quality solution for amplifying stringed instruments. FELiX is built into a roadworthy (beer-resistant) floor unit chassis of anodized aluminum and steel, portable enough to leave the rack at home but bring studio quality to the stage. With the same stunning audio performance and legendary reliability as Grace Design’s pro audio range, FELiX brings open, musical and nuanced preamplification to any performance situation.
A powerful eq section allows simple and intuitive tone shaping for even the most unruly of instruments. Each channel’s variable high pass filter cuts 12dB per octave from 20Hz to 1kHz, and can also be set as a notch filter for chasing down problem feedback or rumble areas. Parametric mid range controls cover from 70Hz all the way to 8KHz. While fixed low and high controls are carefully voiced for musical shading of bass and treble. Controls are simple and clearly marked on a bright panel, making them easy to read and tweak on a dark stage. Footswitch functions include a mute / tune switch for muting all outputs except the dedicated tuner out, a boost switch which activates a variable boost circuit, and finally, an A/B mode switch for when FELiX is in A/B mode (which simply toggles between the two different channels).
FELiX brings the kitchen sink approach to I/O. Inputs include a 48V XLR mic input and two instrument inputs. Two independent transformer isolated DI outputs can be sourced from either the mix or the individual channel. This allows you to send the front of house a mix or each channel independently. A dedicated, level controlled amplifier output can be sourced from the mix or channel 2. A dedicated tuner output stays active when all the other outputs are muted. A side panel mounted 1/8” mini jack headphone amplifier is there for practicing, private noodling during boring soundchecks, or scrutinizing dubious eq decisions. A TRS insert is included for adding effects, and finally, a remote footswitch jack is included if FELiX is going to spend his life in a rack or up off the floor.
Guitar, bass, fiddle, mandolin, cello, dare we say banjo, that weird 3 string gourd thing–FELiX is your instrument’s new best friend. Flexible, reliable, a good listener and eager to make you sound better, he is also your new best friend. Designed and built by family and friends in sunny Lyons, CO, USA.

AER Alpha
The AER Alpha is a compact combo amp for acoustic instruments. It has one channel with 2 individual inputs that allow parallel use of instrument and microphone, even though the instrument is the main focus. Inputs each have their own gain knob. Birch plywood cabinet provides great tone projection and is road tough. Dynamic controlled 40 Watts RMS and the 8″ twin-cone speaker system give perfect performance at all sound pressure levels. Onboard reverb, external effects loop and headphone out. The Alpha amplifier defines the starting point of serious acoustic amplification at AER. Based on the success and the experience with the Compact 60 they have developed an even smaller, lightweight model that has no difficulties living up to the rigors of the road. Amazingly reduced, without losing what is essential for superb performance – the Alpha is a full size member of the AER product family. Open sounding and quick in response, this guitar amp masters different ranges and is not afraid of bigger instruments.
Effects
The AER Alpha has an integrated (internal) digital reverb effect on board. The return control determines the intensity of the effect (as far to the left as possible means no effect). Furthermore, a supplementary effect device can be connected (external effect). For this purpose, use the sockets send and return at the rear of Alpha to connect the external device (send to the input, return from the output of the external effect). The intensity will then be set by the controls of external effect device. A standard double foot switch can be connected to the footswitch socket on the rear of the amp with a stereo cable. This switch can be used to turn the internal and external effects on and off.L.R. Baggs Para Acoustic Di
Due to its studio quality performance, powerful tone shaping EQ and rock-solid reliability, the Para DI is an indispensable stage tool for countless musicians around the world. This roadworthy box effortlessly tames the stage and enhances any acoustic pickup for a fuller, more complex sound. The Para DI features a 5-band EQ with a tunable midrange and notch, variable gain control for passive or active pickups and a high-quality DI output for a pristine signal to the board.
