Here we have a Lowden O-32 in Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce. This one is a great tonemaker, with full, forward trebles and big, happenin’ bass. A light touch brings you great volume and the shimmery notes that it produces have excellent sustain. With its diamond pattern inlays and legendary Lowden durability, this is a workhorse guitar that you’ll want to show off, too!

Here we have a Lowden S-25 in Red Cedar and East Indian Rosewood. This is a guitar perfectly suited to fingerpicking and folk music. The tone is bright and smooth with and has an underlying woodiness that ties the tonal palette together. The neck profile and string spacing feel natural in the hand, while string spacing at the saddle feels perfect for fingerstyle playing.

There are few guitars suited to the workhorse life like a Martin HD-28. This thing has the tone and the toughness to handle what the road may throw at it. Built from East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce, this guitar has the loud and driving tone to lead a roaring bluegrass band. If you need more volume than this guitar can provide acoustically, then just plug in through the Fishman Matrix pickup and get all the volume you need. This is a great guitar that has had some good years spent on it with many more years left to go.

This here is an incredibly well thought out guitar: a Martin D-18 Authentic made to their 1937 specs, updated with a 1 3/4″ nut and 2 1/4″ string spacing. It has the best of both worlds – vintage tone and modern feel and playability! The notes seem to just leap out of this one, with all the power and control that you would want and expect from a Mahogany and Adirondack (Red) Spruce guitar built to the same specs as one of Martin’s legendary prewar instruments, hide glue, forward shifted bracing, scalloping and all.

This Lowden F35 has clarity in spades. The trebles shimmer and cut through a dense mix well, making it a great guitar for acoustic lead. The Brazilian Rosewood Lowden used on this F35 is an interesting set with variation in color and landscape style figure, paired with a creamy Alpine Spruce top. Playability is effortless from action to string spacing, making this a great go to guitar for lounging around on the couch or going out on the stage.

This Martin 00-16DBFM is the very first one made in its series! The label reads Instrument #1 and it is certainly a winner in our books. Built of stunning Flamed Bigleaf Maple and shimmering Sitka Spruce, this guitar has punchy, dry bass and mids combined with twinkling, lush highs. The DBFM was made in support of the Women And Music Program and has a slightly narrower nut of 1 11/16″, great for those with shorter fingers or those who like a closer string spacing on the neck.

The Martin OM-42 is a guitar that normally would need no introduction, but this one has a crisp sweetness about it that demands special attention right from the get go. The classic, time tested combination of Sitka Spruce and East Indian Rosewood yields driving, yet glassy bass and trebles that were just born to carry a melody. And while the 42-style adornments may give it an incredible look, the real value in this one is the voice. This is a guitar that can be fingerpicked or you can pull out a pick and really lay into it and it holds strong and tight.
