This custom Crescendo features the rare Santa Maria, Cuban Mahogany which is revered for its density which adds sustain and control to the mahogany tone. It’s an amazing tonewood that seems to possess the best quality of Mahogany but with articulation and clarity more like a rosewood. The crescendo has the snappy, powerful bass that Tippin is regarded for. This is a guitar that has the power of a 000 but more versatility and 14 frets for full access.

Here’s a like-new Vintage D from Dana and company. The Adirondack top on this guitar is simply amazing, very wide grain which is highly desirable on a Dread. The rosewood here is very dark and well quartered. The tone is very strong with great bell like chime on the top. The top part of an open G chord rings like a choir.
