2006 Tippin Dream Series Brazilian/Carpathian
The first of our Dream Series from Bill Tippin never even made it to our website. That’s no surprise considering that this Series features extremely rare “old growth” Brazilian and gem quality Opal inlay, but it’s the tone that sets it apart. Built upon Bill’s Crescendo body shape, it boasts a voice that’s strong and clear. As its name implies, it’s a very loud guitar, but each note is full of rich character. The appointments are breath-taking and include “gem quality” Opal inlay, Bloodwood bindings, hand-made Koa top trim and a custom Brazilian bridge. This guitar is the perfect mix of power and beauty.

Applegate SJ Dream #2 Brazilian/Adirondack
We asked Brian to build two of the Dream Series for us. They share the same exquisite appointments such the twisted band Rosettes, blue Paua inlays and side sound-port, however here you get the classic combination of Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Red Spruce.

2006 Moreira Concert Classical Brazilian/German
Being located in Brazil Rodrigo is able to find incredible sets of Brazilian Rosewood. This guitar boasts a set that has straight, dark grain lines that give it superb tone and an understated beauty. The German Spruce top is French Polished for a warm voice and the modern burl rosetted is refreshing and lovely. The tone is warm and rich on this one with great clarity and a singing G string.

New Charis Dream Series SJ cut. Brazilian /Red Cedar
The Dream Series is a very special collaboration with Bill Wise of Charis Acoustics. The goal of this series is to build a guitar with uncomprimised tone and to adorn it with understated wooden appointments. For this one, #4 of 10 to be made we selected a very old and rich set of Brazilian rosewood. It has very tight grain just a hint of wave to it, definitely quarter sawn for classic tone. This is a much higher grade of wood that most sets you see today. Combined here with Cedar for a deep, warm tone that is rich and glorious. The strummed sound is warm, shimmering and full. Played fingerstyle it’s very rich and powerful, lot’s of projection and sweet, sweet mids. Bill Wise is creating some very special guitars indeed.

1997 Kim Walker 0-18 Quilted Mahogany/Bearclaw Sitka
Preowned guitars by Kim Walker are few and far between. This one is a small bodied sweetheart. The woods are beautifully figured Mahogany and bearclaw Spruce. The voice is strong and proud and it capably morphs from bluesy to placid pieces. The bass string is full and warm and the treble strings sing out. A great Walker and this is the only O he ever made so it is very rare and collectible.

2001 Martin HD-28V Custom Indian/Adirondack Red
This is a beautiful custom HD-28V with a beautiful Adirondack Red Spruce top. The upgraded top gives this particular guitar a chimey high-end that sounds like Big Ben having a bad day. It has attitude and the treble strings jump out giving plenty of ‘chuck’ to go with the ‘boom’. This one’s in excellent condition and ready to make music.
