This is a beautiful custom HD-28V with a beautiful Adirondack Red Spruce top. The upgraded top gives this particular guitar a chimey high-end that sounds like Big Ben having a bad day. It has attitude and the treble strings jump out giving plenty of ‘chuck’ to go with the ‘boom’. This one’s in excellent condition and ready to make music.
You can really hear the Adirondack top in this one. The top strings are wonderfully chimey and ring with great sustain. Superb guitar for chord and lead work! 
The HD-28V was one of the best things to happen to the Martin Dreadnought guitars. It harkens back to the pre-war models in both design and construction. This one differs from the stock model in that it has a glossy finish on the neck and the top is made from Premium Adirondack Red Spruce. It is clear and powerful with plenty of projection and a nice tight bass response.
