2015 PRS Private Stock Hollowbody 1 JK, Mahogany/Maple
This 2015 PRS Hollowbody I is no ordinary build—it was crafted in direct collaboration with master luthier Jason Kostal, a former apprentice of Ervin Somogyi and a towering figure in modern acoustic guitar making. Designed to Jason’s personal spec, and with custom inlay work developed alongside Aulsen Inlay, this instrument reflects the fusion of high-end electric craftsmanship and luthier-level detail.
Built around a fully hollow body with no center block, it features a striking Curly Maple top and matching Curly Mahogany back, paired with a Curly Maple neck carved to PRS’s classic Wide-Fat profile—chunky, supportive, and articulate. The fretboard and headstock veneer are cut from dark Ebony, punctuated with the iconic PRS bird inlays, executed with custom flair through the Kostal x Aulsen partnership.
Under the hood, a matched set of PRS 57/08 pickups offers vintage-voiced warmth and clarity, delivering everything from jazzy cleans to punchy midrange growl. The adjustable stoptail bridge ensures stable intonation and sustain, while hybrid hardware adds a modern, two-tone edge. Finished in a luscious Violin high-gloss nitrocellulose, this guitar resonates with elegance—visually and tonally.

2010 PRS Private Stock McCarty, Mahogany/Maple
From the heart of the PRS Private Stock vault comes this stunning 2010 McCarty, Private Stock #2650 / Serial #160064. Built with meticulous attention to detail, this one delivers both visual drama and sonic punch. The top is a vividly quilted Maple cap, set against a solid Mahogany back for warmth and sustain. The neck is carved from gorgeously Figured Mahogany in PRS’s comfortable Wide-Fat profile—substantial without being bulky—and features an Ebony fretboard and headstock veneer with signature bird inlays.
Under the hood, a pair of PRS 59/09 pickups give you classic PAF-inspired tones with modern refinement: smooth mids, articulate highs, and just the right amount of heat. Paired with the PRS tremolo bridge and gold hardware throughout, this McCarty balances elegance with edge. Finished in a rich Tiger Eye Smoked Burst nitrocellulose lacquer, it’s got stage presence to spare.

2019 Sobell Lumberjack Model 1, Malaysian Blackwood/Sitka Spruce
Stefan Sobell, Darrell Scott. Two of our favorite names, and strung together in the same breath makes for a powerful instrument. Enter the “Lumberjack” Model 1, originally built by Stefan for Darrell in 2019. Silky, dark Malaysian Blackwood back and sides with a Sitka Spruce top, Stefan’s trademark V neck profile, and a 25 5/8” scale length for crisp bass notes and explosive projection. The top is a step in a new direction for Stefan, lighter and more responsive, and we’re delighted to confirm it soaks up gentler fingerstyle work just as well as vigorous flatpicking. Additionally, Stefan outfitted this beautiful instrument with a Highlander pickup, Gotoh 510 Delta tuners, EVO frets, and the whole package comes wrapped up in an ivory Hiscox flight case.

Brand New Blind Guitars B-24, African Blackwood/Torrefied Adirondack Spruce
We’re excited to welcome our first instrument from Blind Guitars of France: the B-24, a refined mid-sized steel-string built with care and an eye for both sonic depth and aesthetic detail.
The top is torrefied Adirondack spruce, providing both headroom and a quick response, with the added warmth and openness that comes from torrefaction. Paired with African Blackwood for the back and sides, the tonal palette leans rich and dark, with excellent sustain and complex overtones—ideal for fingerstyle and light strumming alike. The sides are double laminated with ovangkol, contributing strength and a more rigid box for enhanced projection.
The neck is torrefied flamed maple, offering a smooth playing feel and additional stability. Rocklite bindings and brass body purfling add a subtle, refined contrast to the high gloss polyurethane finish, while the satin neck keeps the playing experience fast and comfortable. The fingerboard and bridge are ebony, with a 1 3/4″ bone nut and 2 1/4″ string spacing at the bridge.
Brass dots and a brass logo complement the aesthetic while matching the bell brass frets—a subtle but classy touch. It ships in a Crossrock carbon fiber case.
A strong debut at Dream from Blind Guitars, and one we’re glad to finally feature.

2020 Santa Cruz H13, All Koa 42 Style
2020 Santa Cruz H-13, all Koa with 42-style appointments. This small-body instrument has a lot going on: a deep body and 13 frets to the body give it a bigger voice and feel than your typical 00-style guitar. Ivoroid bindings and abalone throughout complete the aesthetic, all wrapped in an Ameritage case. Get this small but mighty fingerstyle machine while you can.

2010 Sobell New World, African Blackwood/German Spruce
It’s no secret that we are huge fans of Stefan Sobell‘s here at Dream Guitars, and this 2010 New World model is proof positive as to why. Dressed in African Blackwood and German Spruce this instrument is quite the charmer. Jumbo frets, signature top, and crowsfeet appointments this guitar flaunts classic Sobell vibes. The wenge neck however mixes up these classic appointments a bit. This New World is certainly worth some exploration. This guitar has had a K&K Pure mini installed since previous listing.

We actually had this very guitar about 15 years ago (at the time of this writing), and it has opened up beautifully since then. It’s also been exceptionally well maintained—a fantastic blend of tone, character, and care.

2005 Henderson 000, All Koa
All-Koa 2005 000 from the one and only Wayne Henderson—a true rarity. This 12-fret beauty features herringbone trim, abalone around the rosette, and dot inlays on the fingerboard.
It’s not often we see an all-hardwood build from Wayne, but after spending time with this one, we wish it happened more often. This guitar is full of personality—rich in character, big on volume, and crystal clear across the register. Hands down, one of the most diverse-sounding 000s we’ve had through the shop.
