This guitar is built from Reserve Master Grade Brazilian Rosewood and Old Growth Adirondack Spruce, bringing these exceptional materials to their highest potential. Dressed in classic 45-style fashion, but make no mistake—this is not just about flash and looks. Sonically, it’s every bit as impressive as it is visually.
It comes with a full neck profile, a tortoise-style headplate with a torch inlay, ivoroid bindings, and 45-style abalone trim and appointments throughout.
But truly, this guitar speaks for itself. A magical creation from the workshop of Blazer & Henkes—one we will surely miss when it finds its next home.

This dreadnought from Blazer & Henkes absolutely nails the pre-war Martin feel and sound. This thing is just so powerful and clear—it feels like each note keeps getting bigger and bigger the higher you play. Wow. Just wow. 
I don't like to call a guitar perfect, I think it's a term thrown around altogether too much. Then again, sometimes that's just the best word to describe something. This D-45 from Blazer & Henkes, one of their last ever? Yeah, I guess I'd call this one perfect. There's chime and crystalline note definition, fiery overtones that add depth without muddying up the voice, the je ne sais quois of a prewar Martin's openness in spite of the fact it's hardly three years old. | Scale Length | 25.4 in |
