John Mayes started making guitars in the mid 90’s and then later went to work for Dana Bourgeois. He went on to create his own Mayes Guitars. He makes a variety of wonderful instruments and strives for the highest quality.

I've known John Mayes for years and always admired his work. He clearly has a passion to build fine instruments that satisfy the player.
