Description

Taylor guitars are known for their surgically-precise fit and finish, they're clear tone, and effortless playability--and this 2004 Dreadnought is here to prove it! Decked out in Mahogany and Sitka Spruce, this Taylor 510-CE-19 isn't your run-of-the-mill Taylor Dread: featuring a short scale (at 24 7/8") and 14-fret neck, this guitar has an extra dose of sweetness poured over the dry Mahogany projection, and is even easier to play than a regular Taylor. We ran this guitar through its Bluegrass paces to great effect with a flatpick, but we found that with a thumbpick and some gravel in your voice, this Taylor made an excellent Blues guitar, with a punchy tone and crisp low end that sounds delicious with some palm damping and medium attack. Warm, punchy, and loud, this Taylor 510-CE-19 is a dynamic Dreadnought that's equally equipped for fingerstyle or flatpicking styles.
