The Dudenbostel abides. We’ve landed a powerhouse 2018 OM from Lynn Dudenbostel that’s a bombshell to the eyes, and a cannon to the ears. Brazilian Rosewood back and sides are paired with an Adirondack Spruce top, herringbone trim, and a vintage-style V neck that’s glossy smooth to the touch. This beauty weighs in at a scant 4lbs, and has a sweet dynamic range that works well for both flatpicking and fingerstyle. Ivoroid bindings, Waverly tuners, and a classic bone through saddle round out the image of the classic OM—and this Dudenbostel has an expressive and lively voice to make it oh so hard to put down.

This was a treat. So great to see a recent build from Lynn Dudenbostel, this one has all the energy of a pre-war guitar and a bit more density to the trebles which I personally look for. It makes the melody notes more interesting and the powerful bass supports everything you play. An awesome, classic guitar and one of the best modern makers.
