Description

We asked Brian to build two of the Dream Series for us. They share the same exquisite appointments such the twisted band Rosettes, blue Paua inlays and side sound-port, however here you get the classic combination of Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Red Spruce.

The first thing that strikes me about this guitar are the thick warm treble strings almost chocolaty. I'm sure it's the gorgeous "old growth" Brazilian that adds the richness and body. The bass note is big and resonant and nicely supports the overall balance of this SJ guitar. Brian Applegate has definitely learned a thing or two about clarity and balance from his mentor James Olson. But with this series he shows a style all his own.
