Description

Michael Baranik is one of the new era of builders making exquisitely crafted instruments that excel at fingerstyle music. He strives for balance and pure tone and this guitar has it. This is his larger body JX but it remains clear and even while providing just a bit more bass. That makes this guitar very well suited for alternate tunings as well as Standard. The woods here are just beautiful and you get Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack a pickup and a Calton flight case for under $6k. That's a lot of tone and beauty in this price range. Don't miss this opportunity to own a premiere guitar.

I've known Michael Baranik for a number of years and have long been an admirer of his guitars. A preowned Baranik is one of the great values in the modern guitar market in my opinion. The quality of workmanship and tonewoods you get for the price is astonishing. The voice on this guitar is inspiring and it plays with ease. That fact that you also get a pickup and a Calton case is icing on the cake.

After playing this guitar for a while, it really started to grab me in. It's tone is sweet, yet balanced and clear. It's great for fingerstyle or flatpicking.
