Big Hollow
At the age of 18 I decided that I was to be a Luthier, and soon afterwards I was handed an illness that shaped my character and my career. During the years I stayed under my Dad's roof ( thanks Dad) I was given a chance to truly pursue guitarmaking and get my bearings in the craft. Lutherie has become a way to express my insistence that, despite the chronic illnesses I seem to be beset with, I WILL bring beauty into the world; I will inspire and create, and I will grow. This spirit flows through every guitar I build, and is part of what makes my work unique. After a liver transplant in 2011, my wife and I bought a house in Frisco, Colorado. I built a garage, and we started a family. My guitars were in demand, and suddenly my world was nothing but my son and my guitars. Several years later, nothing has changed. What a wonderful life! I wake up every day so stoked to be a Dad and a Husband and a Luthier, I couldn't be happier.
