S.B. MacDonald custom guitars are made strictly by special order. Each is designed around the needs, spirit and personality of the customer. Design, function, balance, and tonal flavor come together to create an instrument that is an extension of the artist. Scott MacDonald insists on getting to know as much about each customer and their music as he can before design and construction begins. In the end, an instrument as unique as its owner is born.

I met Scott through the Association of Stringed Instruments Artisans, A.S.I.A., a society for luthiers. I was immediately impressed by his knowledge and obvious passion for the craft. Our discussion got around to his resonator guitar design and the idea was born to create our ResoDream Series guitars. We are delighted to have our association with Scott, the ResoDream is very unique in the guitar world and will surely bring lots of joy to our clients the world over.
