This is a Custom Shop Gibson L-4 CES Archtop guitar. These are made from solid Mahogany for the body and carved Spruce top. This example from 2005 is near mint and obviously well cared for. The setup is perfect and it plays fast and easy. The acoustic voice is lively and plugged in it’s full and fat. A great Gibson design.
A classic Gibson design and a wonderful recent example. This one was kept very clean and it sounds great. Fat, chunky chords and fast leads are easily had on this Gibson L4CES. 
I used to own a Gibson 175 and this guitar is very similar, but a bit fancier looking. It's a great guitar for Blues or Jazz and even works well in a Rock environment. Hard to beat in the world of Gibson electrics. | Scale Length | 24.5 in |
