Here we have a very rare mint condition, all original, 1962 Fender Stratocaster in a sunburst finish complete with the original case, also in mint condition, the ash tray cover and tremolo bar. It’s all here and in wonderful condition. But the best part is that it plays beautifully up the entire neck and feels like your favorite pair of old blue jeans. The current owner has had this guitar for nearly 20 years and kept it in superb condition. There are very few of these around in this good a condition and we are thrilled to have it for our customers.
Al and I both loved the feel of this '62 Strat the moment we played it, it's superb, the neck fits like a glove and bends are a joy. You gain an immediate appreciation for a fine vintage Fender when you play one like this. They are not all great, but this one truly is, both feel and tone are top notch. The original pickups sound amazing and you can conjure up Hendrix or Knopfler with ease. The current owner has had this and the '65 we are offering for nearly 20 years and kept them in wonderful condition so they are ready for another 50 years of music. We rarely ever see any this fine and are proud to offer this historic guitar.
