This is the real deal vintage Les Paul Jr. The Les Paul Junior is the little brother to the Les Paul, having a flat, uncarved mahogany body, a single P90 pickup, plus the old wraparound combined bridge/tailpiece that would continue to be used on the Junior even after it had been dropped from the Gold Top. Many players covet the Junior for it’s great feel and serious tone. This one is very rare and collectible and appears to be completely original right down to the chipboard case.
I'm a P-90 fan and this one has the mojo. I love the tone of this guitar, the solid mahogany body has great sustain and a sweet voice. The playability is great up the entire neck. It has some wear, but for me that adds to the vibe. This is a very rare and collectible Gibson Les Paul Jr. that you can enjoy while it appreciates in value.
