This Expression, now renamed AX-6, features a stunning Flamed Maple top over Mahogany with a scale combination of 27.25″ on the bass and 25″ on the treble. There’s a Bartolini Soapbar pickup and a Graph Tec Ghost Bridge System with a 9 pin jack as well as the standard 1/4″ jack. There are controls to blend the pickups and mini toggles for advancing the MIDI channel and a coil tap. All of this adds up to a super versatile guitar well suite for Jazz players seeking the best of everything.
I play multiscale guitars as my main instruments, I love the improved intonation, tuning flexibility and most important the even tension across strings. This Novax plays fast and easy and the pickups allow for a wide array of tones.
