With a fundamental that’s profoundly rich and glassy playability, this 1989 Classical from Paul Jacobson stands as a resounding testament to Jacobson’s skills. Over 20 years old, this instrument sings with a powerfully opened-up voice that is characterized by an aggressive bass register and trebles with the perfect amount of pop to linger in the air for long seconds. Once she’s in your hands, it won’t take long for you to realize just how easy it is to go from silence to thunder: the responsiveness is crisp, and the projection fierce.
Featuring some seriously straight-grained Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides and Cedar for the top, this Jacobson is in splendid shape for its age and has been properly played in and opened up. Special additions include: the high C 20th fret for the treble E string, a 660mm scale, and an Everest hardshell case. This Jacobson is ready for many more years of music–it won’t linger long!
