Chocolate-dark Brazilian Rosewood with German Spruce on top, 645mm scale, and a slim 3lbs 4oz playing weight brings added warmth and roundness to the trebles. The strings mix up very evenly across the registers. This Torres model comes to us from 2000, and has opened up handsomely. We found that after a few minutes, it woke up even more—a responsive guitar, indeed.
