Famed French builder Daniel Friderich requires no introduction here. This particular example of his work comes to us from his late period in 2005 with Cedar top over Indian Rosewood back and sides, 650mm scale, and an orchestrally pianisitic voice. This Concert Classical weighs in under four pounds, in part from the thin and resonant french polish finish throughout. Fifth and seventh fret side dot position markers are a nod to modernity, but elsewhere this Friederich is a classic Classical, including a full neck profile with U-shaped carve, fan bracing, and Rodgers tuners. Comes in a custom carbon fiber flight case.

Daniel Friederich has a history that reads like a storybook. He built himself a guitar in 1955 because he could not afford a good one. Then showed his 15th to Bouchet whom he admired, then in 1967 was awarded a silver medal in a competition that included Bouchet and Fleta. Fast forward to 2005 when this gorgeous guitar was made, and you can feel and hear all the passion that has driven Friederich along his guitarmaking journey. Simply a sublime guitar, the best of the best.
A consistent and balanced response across the range allows the player maximum freedom of expression.
